Privacy notice

This notice explains what personal data we process when you visit kaffeinist.hu, send us an email or make a complaint.

When you visit the site

The site is served by Cloudflare, Inc. To deliver and protect the site, Cloudflare records technical data: your IP address, the time, the page requested and your browser type (user agent). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running and protecting the site (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Visitor statistics and cookies

We only look at aggregated traffic figures from Cloudflare’s server-side statistics. The site uses no cookies, and no tracking code runs in your browser.

If you email us

We need your name, email address and the content of your message to reply. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) or, where relevant, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). We keep the message until the matter is closed.

If you make a complaint

To investigate and answer your complaint, we process your name, your contact details and the content of your complaint. The legal basis is compliance with our legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR and section 17/A of Hungarian Act CLV of 1997 on consumer protection). By law, we keep the complaint, or the record of a verbal complaint, together with our reply for three years.

• Cloudflare, Inc.: hosting and content delivery (transfers to the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework)
• Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited: email service (Microsoft 365; any transfer to the United States takes place under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, under which Microsoft Corporation is certified)

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, for it to be corrected or erased, or for its processing to be restricted. If you gave us the data to prepare a contract, you can also ask us to give it to you in a structured, machine-readable format, or to pass it on to another controller of your choice (data portability). Send your request by email to info@kaffeinist.hu. We will reply within one month.

Your right to object

You can object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on our legitimate interests (server logs and correspondence). We will then stop processing the data unless we have compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, or we need it to establish, exercise or defend legal claims (Article 21 GDPR).

Complaints to the authority

If you think we have infringed your rights, you can complain to the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH, Falk Miksa utca 9–11, 1055 Budapest; postal address: 1363 Budapest, Pf. 9; www.naih.hu) or go to court.
